
Kevin Seconds is a Sacramento-born singer, songwriter, and guitarist best known as the frontman of the influential punk band 7 Seconds, which he founded in 1979 with his brother Steve Youth. Alongside decades of touring and releasing records with the band, Seconds has built a prolific solo career since the early 1990s, performing across the U.S. and the U.K. and releasing multiple albums that explore folk, indie, and alternative acoustic styles. His solo work often features collaborations with his wife, Allyson Seconds, and showcases his sharp songwriting, warm storytelling, and a distinctly DIY spirit that has defined his entire musical life.
