House Shows in Davis

Backyard, Living Rooms and Co-op Shows

Many house shows in Davis happen at the student co-ops on the UC Davis campus, and others fill backyards and living rooms across town. Some are full band bills of rock, emo, punk and shoegaze, with local bands sharing the night with bands from Sacramento and the Bay Area. Others are house concerts, with a songwriter or an acoustic act playing to a seated audience.

These shows are usually open to anyone, with fairly priced covers, and many hosts follow NOTAFLOF (no one turned away for lack of funds). Ages vary by event. Before you go, read up on house show etiquette.
