Bay Area Takes Over UC Davis is a house show with four bands from around Northern California, playing rock, emo, shoegaze and punk.
- Mugslug: The East Bay band calls itself the smallest band in the world, played as far north as Portland this spring, and closes the night.
- Despire: This Vacaville band describes its sound as grungegaze and put out a self-titled EP in August.
- Define Desperate: Self-described as Bay Area emo, the band stops here on its October California tour, with the single “Holy Water Tears” out since September.
- The Millers: A band formed in Davis, opening the show.
The show is at a house at 1101 B Street, with sound by Never Enough Sound.
