Interview with Eric Warren of the Len Brown Society
October 12, 2026
Len Brown Society Revival Band at Armadillo Music
Date
Saturday - October 17, 2026
Time
8:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Event Description
The Len Brown Society Revival Band performs its self-titled album live at Armadillo Music in Davis, played by a band Eric Warren put together for this show. Warren started the Len Brown Society in 1997 as a revolving group of musicians who recorded and performed together. Its records came out on the Galaxia label in the early 2000s, indie rock with folk and jazz in the mix.
The show grew out of the store itself. Warren donated a stack of his old Len Brown Society CDs to Armadillo, which gave them away free, and the band’s Spotify plays went up. The store then asked him to perform the album live.
Armadillo shows happen right in the shop, with the band set up a few feet from the record bins and the audience gathered around. The Bootleg, inside the store, has beer on tap.
