The John Natsoulas Gallery is an art gallery on First Street in downtown Davis, facing the UC Davis campus. John Natsoulas opened it in 1986. It fills a remodeled former fraternity house, with art on four floors, an outdoor patio, and a rooftop deck. Jazz has long been part of the gallery’s programming. It hosts jazz nights and a Jazz Beat Poetry Night that pairs spoken word with live jazz and an open mic, and it has held an annual Davis Jazz & Beat Festival. Exhibitions focus on figurative and expressionist work and California ceramics.
