Davis Food Co-Op
The Davis Food Co-op is a member-owned grocery store at 620 G Street in downtown Davis, cooperatively owned since 1972 and open to everyone. Along with groceries, the Co-op hosts free live music at seasonal events, including evening shows on its patio and sets at its spring and Halloween block parties, held in the store's parking lot at G and 6th Street.
Local bands including Xylocopa, Ten Foot Tiger, Nineteenth Operator, and Cowboys After Dark have played Co-op events. Free parking is available in the store lot and on nearby streets.
