Living Room at the Melon Ball

Six local acts play Living Room, an evening that turns the Melon Ball into a music, art, and cafe space. The lineup is Hopia, an alternative duo; singer-songwriter Donovan; the bands Jellyfish Blue and The Uncs; The Liquid Hotplates, a UC Davis student a cappella group; and the brass quartet Saxolotls. Visual art will be on display, along with homemade baked goods and a cafe drink bar. Ticket sales go to CommUNITY Through Art, a Yolo County project that brings professional artists into homeless shelters and recovery centers and works regularly with 4th & Hope. Discovery Christian Church is covering the cost of the space.
