The Alex Makeev Trio at The Melon Ball

The Alex Makeev Trio plays the Melon Ball with a mix of original compositions, unusual takes on jazz standards, and their own versions of pop songs. Makeev leads the group, with Aidan Smith on drums and Arlo Jones on bass. The originals lean dreamy and open, and the standards get arrangements that wander from the usual charts. Cash or Venmo only at the door, and it’s a BYOB event.
