Third Space Art Collective is a nonprofit, volunteer-run arts group based in a warehouse on Arboretum Terrace in Davis. Local artists founded it in the early 2010s, and it moved into the warehouse in 2017. The space has a gallery, open studio hours, private studios, a music room, and a free art supply pantry. Music is a regular part of what the collective does. Shows are all ages and pay what you can, with no one turned away for lack of funds. Lineups lean toward DIY and experimental music, from indie and psychedelic rock to electronic, ambient, and cumbia, and some shows are held at partner houses around town.
