Pence Gallery
The Pence Gallery is a nonprofit art gallery on D Street in downtown Davis. It opened in 1975 and is named for Dr. Joe Pence. The current two-story building opened in 2005, with two main galleries on the ground floor, a smaller gallery and classroom upstairs, and a patio. Exhibitions feature local and regional artists, and admission is free. The gallery takes part in the monthly downtown ArtAbout, and its patio is used for occasional performances, including choral groups and jazz musicians.
