Mondavi Center

The Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts is on the UC Davis campus, at Mrak Hall Drive and Old Davis Road, next to Interstate 80. It opened in 2002. Its season covers a wide range of music: orchestras, chamber music, jazz, and American and global roots, from blues and funk to mariachi, flamenco, and taiko. Dance, theater, and speakers fill out the calendar. Jackson Hall seats 1,801, and the Vanderhoef Studio Theatre holds about 250 for smaller performances. UC Davis students get discounted tickets, and parking is in the campus structure next door.
